Service Description
Ohio now allows Dr. Farmer to care for patients who have not seen her in the last 12 months. If this applies to you, in most cases, Dr. Farmer can offer limited prescriptions for up to 2 weeks of medication. If the patient has seen Dr. Farmer in the last 12 months, some restrictions are lifted. Telehealths are done through TEXTING via the medical record as video calls require Dr. Farmer to be in her office, and with being mobile this is not typically possible. Telehealths are limited to patients currently IN Ohio. They are perfect for minor skin and ear conditions along with motion sickness and storm phobia medications. Conditions requiring testing, surgery, or specialized follow-up may not be appropriate for this service and you may get a referral. Dr. Farmer's telehealth website calendar does not currently sync with the medical calendar, but we will do our best to accommodate your requested time.
Cancellation Policy
By scheduling this visit you are stating that you are the legal owner of this animal and are over the age of 18. By scheduling this appointment you give Dr. Penny Farmer and associates authorization to perform examination, consultation, diagnostics, and procedures and prescribe necessary treatments and medications for this animal. You are agreeing to a virtual consultation and prescription, if Dr. Penny Farmer deems it necessary. You are also agreeing that a prescription is not guaranteed and a referral to another practitioner may be advised instead of a prescription. By checking this form you understand that all medical procedures, medications, and treatments are not guaranteed. Conditions that require additional testing, surgery or follow-up may be denied services beyond the consultation.
